Hormones play a significant role in various functions such as memory, sleep, and weight management, Decreases in hormone levels can influence aging indicators.
BHRT is beneficial in replenishing hormones no longer naturally produced by the body, offering an effective solution for addressing low or imbalanced hormone levels. These imbalances typically emerge around the age of 40, leading to decreased energy, libido, weight changes, and mental clarity.
hormone imbalances may occur earlier or later in life and are common in women who have had a hysterectomy. Injuries, medical conditions, surgeries, and other factors can also impact hormone levels. Fluctuations in estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, cortisol, and cholesterol can interplay, increasing the risk of health issues.
Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) relieves varying symptoms. The therapy programs have the exact molecular structure as the hormones in the body, when restored, the life hindering symptoms can be reduced or eliminated.

practitioner to treat hormone imbalances.

PELLET THERAPY HIGHLIGHTED
BHRT PELLET THERAPY
The most convenient way in providing the body with a consistent flow of hormones of testosterone and/or estradiol. Pellets are very small, cylindrical-shaped, compounded medications about the size of a grain of rice. Pellets slowly secrete into the body, mimicking natural hormones released into the body, which eliminates the risk of fluctuating high and low levels.
During a quick in-office visit, the pellet is inserted through a small subcutaneous incision into the gluteal area. This procedure involves a tiny incision using a local anesthetic and is then inserted using a trocar (a sterile surgical instrument). The incision is closed with a sterile strip and covered with an adhesive bandage. The pellet slowly dissolves over the course of three to six months as the body draws small, physiologic dosages of the hormone to maintain a consistent delivery.
After the initial pellet insertion, a six week follow up with labs to evaluate therapy dosage and results. Lab results will determine next dose along with physical symptom relief. Thereafter, the course could be anywhere from three to four months, as the pellet is dissolved in that timeframe. The procedure is repeated, and a new pellet(s) is inserted.
Decades of research have proven that hormonal decline can be associated with decreased physical strength, function and an increase in disease rates. Studies also demonstrate that BHRT can be a treatment option to decrease disease risk factors.

There is minimal downtime with Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy, especially with Pellet Therapy. A small amount of swelling or bruising may occur at the site of pellet insertion in some patients.
Before treatment, it’s important to have a thorough medical consultation and hormone level assessment. After treatment, follow your practitioner’s instructions, avoid strenuous activities for a few days, and maintain a healthy lifestyle to optimize results.
During Pellet Therapy, a small incision is made, and the hormone pellets are inserted under the skin. This usually takes around 15-30 minutes, and you may feel mild discomfort during the process.
